Mystery of Death

Mystery of Death :

There always Arose Questions regarding death in my mind ...that

What happens at the time of death ???

how much pain we will have to suffer after death ????

aahhh..i heard from someone that when we die,,we can listen to people that what are they saying but cant response....!

TOO MANY QUESTIONS..

then i stated to search on net and social sites.!

The more i get closure to ALLAH the more i started to wish for SHAHADAT ...then i read a post on a social site regarding the PRE-ORDAINING of time of death and place of death...

after reading that post..one more question arose in my mind ..IF TIME OF DEATH AND PLACE OF DEATH is PRE-ORDAINED then WHAT ABOUT the MODE OF death ....(by mode of death ..i meant that either i will die by any disease or by any accident etc..if i wish/make dua to get SHAHEED ..can the mode of death be changed after making lots of supplications?? )

Then my common sense arose a point that if place of death is PRE-ORDAINED then mode must also be pre-ordained..because ..lets suppose..if a person's death place is a road..then he gonna die by any accident ..right ???

i asked this question to many that CAN mode of DEATH be changed after making supplications..NO ONE COULD ANSWER...might be....they answered well but i could not get my ANSWER ....do not know.!

I searched a lot and got WORTH SHARING information...

here i am going to share in my own words ..hope so...that you will learn something

when the hour will  Occur?? (Resurrection)
what will happen in grave ???
all this knowledge is known as KNOWLEDGE of knowledge of Un-seen..none possess the knowledge of Un-seen EXCEPT ....ALLAH SUBAHANA Alone

therefore we must rely on that knowledge provided by ALLAH ALMIGHTY in his Glorious Book (Qur'an) and on that knowledge which ALLAH made known to HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (trillions of peace and blessings on him).

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 1627 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

The Prophet (saws) said, "The Angels are present with one who dies, and if a believer dies, they say, 'Come out, good soul, which was in the good body; come out praiseworthy and be happy with rest and provision and a Lord Who is not angry.' That continues to be said to it till it comes out. It is then taken up to Heaven and the door is opened for it. The angels are asked who this is and reply that he is so and so, whereupon these words are spoken: 'Welcome, good soul, which was in the good body; enter praiseworthy and be happy with rest and provision and a Lord Who is not angry.' That continues to be said to it till it comes to the Heaven where Allah is. But when it is a disbeliever it is said, 'Come out, wicked soul, which was in the wicked body; come out blameworthy and be grieved by a boiling liquid, one dark and intensely cold, and other kinds of its type.' That continues to be said to it till it comes out. It is then taken up to Heaven, and the door is asked to be opened for it. The question will be asked who this is and the reply given that it is so and so, whereupon these words are spoken: 'There is no welcome for the wicked soul which was in the wicked body; go back blameworthy, for the gates of Heaven will not be opened for you.' It will then be sent away from Heaven and come to the grave."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 8 Surah Anfaal verses 50-51:

50 If thou couldst see when the Angels take the souls of the unbelievers (at death) (how) they smite their faces and their backs (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing fire

51 Because of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth: for Allah is never unjust to His servants.”

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 47 Surah Muhammad verses 27-28

27 But how (will it be) when the Angels take their souls at death and smite their faces and their backs?

28 This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of Allah and they hated Allah's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect.

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 4735 Narrated byAl-Bara' ibn Azib

The Prophet (saws) said: “When a believer is buried in the grave two angels will come to him (Munkar and Nakir, both have dark faces and blue eyes), make him sit up, and ask : ‘Who is your Lord?’ He will reply: ‘My Lord is Allah.’ They will ask him: ‘What is your religion?’ He will reply: ‘My religion is Islam.’ They will ask him: ‘What is your opinion about the man who was sent on a mission among you?’ He will reply: ‘He is the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).’ They will ask: ‘ Who made you aware of this?’ He will reply: ‘I read Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true.’ Then a crier will call from Heaven: ‘My servant has spoken the truth. So spread a bed for him from Paradise, clothe him from Paradise, and open a door for him into Paradise.’ Then some of its air and perfume will come to him, and a space will be made for him as far as the eye can see. At the death of the unbeliever his soul will be restored to his body in the grave. Then two angels will come to him. They will make him sit up and ask him: ‘Who is your Lord?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’ They will ask him: ‘What is your religion?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’ They will ask: ‘Who was the man who was sent on a mission among you?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’ Then a crier will call from Heaven: ‘He has lied, so spread a bed for him from Hell, clothe him from Hell, and open for him a door into Hell. Then some of its heat and burning hot wind will come to him, and his grave will be compressed, such that his ribs will be crushed together. An angel who is blind and dumb will then be placed in charge of him, having a sledge-hammer, such that, if a mountain were struck with it, it would become dust. He will give him a blow with it, which will be heard by everything between the east and the west except by men and jinn, and he will become dust. Then his soul will be restored to him (again).

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5352 Narrated by Abu Sa'id

The Prophet (saws) said: "The grave (or the life of the soul between one’s death and one’s resurrection on the Day of Judgment) is one of the Gardens of Paradise, or one of the pits of Hell!"

Your Statement: I have heard that at time of death we loose our power of speech and at that time we see our deeds as flash back.

Allah Alone Knows what exactly happens to man just at the time his soul departs from his physical body; for no man whose soul has departed from his body ever lived to narrate his exact experience!

It is safe to assume that man would lose his ‘power of speech’ along with the loss of all his other physical senses as the soul starts to depart from his physical self. To the best of our knowledge, there is absolutely no mention in the Quran or the Sunnah that at the time of death, one is shown all his deeds as ‘flash back’.

But indeed, without an iota of a doubt, man will be shown all his deeds, good and evil, on that Inevitable Day of Jugdement.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 99 Surah Zalzalah verses 6-8:

6 On that Day (of Resurrection) will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the Deeds that they (had done).

7 Then anyone who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it!

8 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.

Your Question: The soul remains in house for 3 days.

There is absolutely no mention of the soul remaining in one’s house for a period of three days in either the Quran or the Sunnah!

Your Question: soul follows the janaza.

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 4735 (part) Narrated byAl-Bara' ibn Azib

At the death of the unbeliever his soul will be restored to his body in the grave. Then two angels will come to him. They will make him sit up and ask him: ‘Who is your Lord?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’ They will ask him: ‘What is your religion?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’ They will ask: ‘Who was the man who was sent on a mission among you?’ He will reply: ‘Alas, alas! I do not know.’

In light of the guidance quoted above, the soul is taken by the Angel of Death and returned to the body in the grave at the time of questioning; thus it would be incorrect to believe that the soul follows the ‘janaza’ or the burial.

from the above mentioned hadiths ..it is clear that soul is indeed restored back into the body in the grave at the time of questioning by the angels Nakir and Munkar.to the nest of my knowledge and search work , there is no time limit declared in the Quran and the Sunnah for how long this questioning session of the angels Nakir and Munakir lasts and ALLAH SUBAHANA knows best.

I qouted Hadiths and Quranic Verses and try to answer all those questions which arise in our mind when we start thinking of mysterious death.

Shukran for reading ..!!!
